Policies
Monthly Tuition
Tuition payment is due by the 10th of each month. If you ever need to extend the due date for a particular month, no worries—just please let us know.
Minimum Commitment
Minimum Commitment to Start
To get started, we ask for a minimum commitment of 3 consecutive classes.
Minimum Commitment for Ongoing Classes
To help us keep your class time reserved, we kindly ask for a minimum of 3 classes per month. Thank you for your understanding.
Abscenses, Weather, and Holidays
Holidays
We follow the school calendar. At the beginning of each month, you will receive an email with the total number of classes scheduled for that month.
Weather
If a class is canceled due to weather, it will be made up as an extra class during the same month or the following month on another day of the week (TBD).
Absences
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for class cancellations.
Canceled classes may be rescheduled within the same month on a day that works for both the teacher and the student. We kindly ask that makeup classes not be carried over to the following month.
Same-day cancellations are considered 50% of a class.
Rescheduling After a Reschedule
If a class is canceled due to weather, it will be made up as an extra class, either during the same month or the following month on another day of the week (TBD). This makeup class does not replace or count toward the regularly scheduled classes of the following month.
Parents Participation
To help students stay focused, parents are asked not to participate in the class or remain in the work area during class time.
FAQs
What age groups do you teach?
Do students need prior knowledge of Spanish?
No prior knowledge is needed for beginner classes. We welcome all students and start from the basics, gradually building vocabulary and confidence.
How do you make classes fun and engaging?
We use games, songs, arts & crafts, and movement-based activities to make learning Spanish interactive and enjoyable.
What to Expect During the First Month
The first class is designed to get to know your child and assess their Spanish level. Students also learn the class routines and dynamics. Typically, the class becomes fully settled and comfortable after about 3 sessions.
Do you provide the materials for the classes?
Will my child become bilingual?
How long is each class, and how often do they meet?
Can parents stay or participate during class?
How do you track my child’s progress?
Teachers provide feedback regularly and may share tips for practice at home. Students also participate in activities that demonstrate what they’ve learned.
What is your policy for missed classes?
What if my child misses a month or wants to pause classes?
We work with families on scheduling whenever possible, but we require a minimum of 3 classes per month to keep the class time reserved.
